Today is the day that Americans commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King was a real American hero. Without his passion and commitment to racial equality and justice, it would have undoubtedly taken African Americans many years more to be treated equally. In the end, he paid the ultimate price for holding the very American belief that “all men are created equal.”

The whole blogosphere is paying tribute to this great man today. Most remarkable about these posts is that conservative commentators tend (some don’t) to praise the man and his accomplishments and leave it at that, while many leftist bloggers try to use Dr. King to advance their own, radical agenda; an agenda, Dr. King did not share.
