The Marty Peretzes and the Michael Goldfarbs and the Lenny Ben-Davids are on the right, to the far right, and there are people to our left, and we are in the middle trying to put forward a thoughtful, moderate, mainstream point of view about how to save Israel as a Jewish home.

Yes. Right at the anti-Jewish center of anti-Israel American Jewish thought, that is. J-Street could very well be the funniest lobbygroup in recent history. It is completely irrelevant, yet it has the strange notion that we should, somehow, take it serious.

Is J-Street, then, a serious clown?
