Hot Air

Hot Air reports, quoting Politico, that when Senator Tom Coburn wanted to pitch his criticism of the Democrats’ health care plan last month, he decided to ignore conservative websites and, instead, turned to the Huffington Post.

Hot Air calls this decision “understandable yet repulsive.”

Understandable because the HuffPo is incredibly big and influential – ‘mainstream media’ reporters often visit the liberal news and opinion site in the morning in order to find items / news to write about – and repulsive because it is rather obviously a far-left website. (more…)

How things change when you’re in power:

He now opposes closing it anytime soon but naturally is A-OK with closing it at some murky, distant time in the future. Which, as far as I can tell, means he holds the same position on it as George W. Bush or Dick Cheney.MORE

My good friend and one of the best conservative members of the blogosphere, Jules Crittenden, analyzes Glenn Greenwald’s interview with “the UN’s torture guy.” Go read Jules’ analysis – he completely destroys Greenwald.

Earlier today, my good friend Ed Morrissey told me he’d like to set me up so I could contribute to Hot Air’s Greenroom. Since I had asked Ed about this myself, I gladly accepted the offer. You can read my post introducing myself here. Be sure to read it, I don’t just introduce myself but also talk about politics.

It truly is an honor and a pleasure for me to contribute to HA’s GR:MORE

Right Wing News reports that Janet Napolitano finally apologized to veterans for smearing them in a DHS report. Or did she? No, she did not. Saying “I’m sorry if you feel offended” isn’t the same as saying “I’m sorry for offending you.”

Both Hot Air and Conservatives4Palin (yeah, the site that doesn’t like me all that much) wrote about rapper Eminem’s latest music video yesterday. Joshua Livestro wrote the post for C4P while AllahPundit took care of the matter for HA.

AP believes the video delivers a mighty blow to Palin because it once again portrays her as a sexbomb whom should not be taken serious.MORE
