Glenn Beck

Just now on his Fox News show Glenn Beck said something that struck me: “We’re becoming a mobocracy”.

He said that, of course, about the United States. But it doesn’t just go for America; the same can be said for most, if not all, European states.

Progressives are purposefully dividing us. They realize that they can only win elections if they feed people’s anger, fear and, yes, hatred. They don’t just do it because it’s in line with their (sick) ideology (which it is), but because they realize they have to do it if they want to actually remain in power (or, if they’re not in power as we speak to make a comeback).

Look at what’s going on in Greece: ‘youths’ are not just protesting against the government’s announced spending cuts, they’re rioting.MORE

The Restoring Honor Rally yesterday brought thousands of people out to the Lincoln Memorial. I know that by the time I got there, there were people filling out the area beyond the treeline, and all the way up to the road. And if they weren’t all the way up to the Washington Monument, it was a close thing.MORE

Yesterday on Glenn Beck’s show on Fox News, Fox Business Network analyst Charles Payne talked about the culture of victimization and hopelessness prevalent in African American communities today and the role leftism played in shaping it.

Payne commented on the tragic death of Chicago honor student Derrion Albert who was beaten to death in Chicago earlier this week. Derrion was a remarkable kid:MORE

David Frum has been criticized a lot lately due to his somewhat strange habit to go after fellow conservatives. The criticism was well-deserved.

Today, he deserves to be praised, however:MORE

I know Glenn Beck can be slightly kooky at times, but this is not one of those times.  On today’s Fox and Friends, he and Judge Andrew Napolitano laid down the law on why Times Square bomber suspect Faisal Shahzad should and will receive his due process.  They could not be more correct.MORE

Six days ago, I wrote a post about conservative bloggers waging war on each other. As I made clear in my article, I believe we (I don’t care whether you’re an American or a European conservative) all have to distance ourselves from racists, xenophobes, etc.

On the other hand, we should also accept and respect differences (of opinion).MORE

Rick Moran and Robert McCain have a go at each other: is Glenn Beck a loon?

Hot Air headlined an essay by Rick Moran yesterday, called “Glenn Beck and the Radical Right.” In it, Moran argues that conservatives should distance themselves from the conservative talk show host, because he’s “a kook.”

The man who works for Pajamas Media and the American Thinker continues:MORE
