Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. What in the world are you doing?

Remember the much talked about Palin bus tour? Well, it has come to an early end. The former governor of Alaska has gone on a ‘hiatus’. She’s now back in her home state, enjoying 19 hours of sunlight a day.

With all due respect, I didn’t think Palin would run for president, but I did expect her to at least take this bus tour seriously. If nothing else, it would be a tremendous occasion to give something back to her supporters, to bolster their passion and, yes, to raise money for her political activism.

Instead, the Barracuda turns her back on everybody and flees home.

Why, Sarah, why? It doesn’t make sense.

Oh, and that’s not even to mention the fact that she gives her enemies to repeat the narrative that she’s a quitter. Even if she didn’t plan on running this time around, perhaps she would’ve liked to run in 2016 or 2020.| MORE ›
