That's exactly the point.
If you knew anything at all about liberal philosophy you’d know that the ideology is at the opposite end of the spectrum from authoritarian. So not only is your argument flawed on its face, it ignores important facts.
Actually, if you did some research you would know that I am a European liberal conservative. That makes me a liberal of the old kind, you know, the ones we still have down here. You don't have those anymore or, at least, they're no longer Liberals, but fiscal conservatives, or moderate conservatives, etc. They who call themselves liberals nowadays aren't liberal in the classical, European sense; they are what we call progressives and / or social democrats.
And , by the way, I may be a bit better educated than you assume.
