What I recall, a position held by some voices (represented by Mark Steyn, who’s always right and bipartisan) is that the left-winger Death Eaters forced capitalists to give loans to everyone (including those with subprime credit, who happen to be black with higher frequency) because the left-wingers didn’t want a meritocratic system to affect black people with an imbalance even though this wasn’t a result of racism, and didn’t need to be ameliorated. But left-wingers and their post-modernist desire to eliminate all inequality and abort Freedom and exhume Reagan’s corpse and whatnot… In short, that is a claim that turn things to racial matters.
Garland, do you EVER tire of dishonestly distorting, caricaturing, and misrepresenting the beliefs of pretty much everyone who disagrees with you on any subject? I ask because, seriously, you are one of the least honest and least charitable discussants I've ever encountered in the blogosphere, and that's saying a lot, considering that "abusive liars" is one of the most well-populated categories on the entire internet. What you represent above is not the conservative argument about the Community Redevelopment Act, it is a leftist caricature of that argument designed specifically to avoid arguing its substance. Shame on you.
