Christopher Hitchens revealed yesterday that he has esophageal cancer and is undergoing treatment for it, giving an explanation for a recent spat of canceled book signings.  I don’t know anything about this type of cancer, really, but Allahpundit tells us that it’s typically fatal, with a low chance of survival past 5 years.  Whether this is the case for Hitchens is not currently known, but I suppose time will tell.| MORE ›
