The elite media narrative, we have all seen it, a couple of minor players at the GOP federal machine make a foolish error, and it is all over the news.

This is like indicting Rudolph Giuliani as a bad mayor because Bernie Kerrick used to work for him. The truth is that Giuliani hired thousands of people and made thousands of decisions with the vast majority being very good for the people of New York.

I am not a hawk (nor a dove, but more of an eagle; perhaps a bald eagle), but I can certainly respect that soldiers on the battlefield oftentimes must make difficult decisions.  And that’s exactly what I saw in the video released today by WikiLeaks.  The video shows soldiers killing several Iraqis who were determined to be carrying RPGs and AK-47s.  WikiLeaks says that they were Reuters journalists (two of them, at least) who were only carrying cameras.MORE

Today I came across this FactCheck article refuting the claim that armed IRS agents would be sent out to ensure compliance with the health care bill.  The article pointed to page 131 of the bill itself and noted that despite the fine placed on people who don’t buy health insurance, the bill says that those who don’t pay the penalty will not be pursued for criminal penalties, nor can be the IRS set a lien against the offender’s property to get the money:MORE
