I have been reading Hot Air for a long time by now. Especially after Ed Morrissey joined the Malkin-crew, the site became one of, if not the first, my favorite conservative websites.
As such, it has greatly surprised me – in a good way – that Hot Air has become even better in recent months. How? By creating its GreenRoom page, where a carefully selected group of bloggers are allowed to publish posts. One of them is a blogger who goes by the name of Doctor Zero.
Doctor Zero has, in my humble opinion, become the best conservative blog-columnist around – I say blog-columnist, and not bloggers, because his posts aren’t blogposts as much as they are columns. Whenever Zero (I don’t know the blogger’s gender) publishes one of his/her columns, the comment section is overrun with comments praising it. And rightly so. Every column touches upon at least one profound conservative truth, often more.
For an example, I suggest you read this Zero-column. As usual, it’s almost perfectly written and incredibly inspiring to conservatives.
The frustrating part? Whenever I read Zero’s columns, I realize just how much I still have to learn about writing.
