In what can be considered definite proof that the GOP’s official leadership realizes it backed the wrong candidate in New York, Dede Scozzafava has dropped out of the race in New York’s NY-23 district. She made the decision because she realized she finally realized she had no chance whatsoever of winning this race.

Although Scozzafava was destined lose this race, especially after Gov. Sarah Palin and Gov.MORE

Although I have linked to most of the posts I’ve written for David Horowitz’s NewsRealBlog, I forgot to inform you all that I have become a regular contributor there. I contacted them a while back myself, asking them whether they could use more contributors. If so, I said, I’d love to write for them and help them reach their goals. Shortly after I was hired.MORE

Good news! It took the European Union a couple of decades and many years of socialist indoctrination, but it has finally been able to sign a treaty to collectively commit suicide.MORE

Conservatives4Palin quickly became a highly influential website last year and afterwards. It is the place conservatives who support Governor Sarah Palin in one way or another go to. It is also the place where her fans fight smears launched at her by her enemies, both Republicans and Democrats.

Hot Air is one of the biggest and influential blogs in the world – and its run by conservatives.MORE

The Obama administration really knows no shame. It continues to say that its economic policies, and especially its stimulus plan, has created or saved a gigantic amount of jobs; a figure nobody can possibly hope to check.

Yet, the MSM play along. Except for Fox News, there is not one big news outlet willing to criticize the administration for its blatant attempt to lie to the public about the impact its economic policies have.MORE

I have been reading Hot Air for a long time by now. Especially after Ed Morrissey joined the Malkin-crew, the site became one of, if not the first, my favorite conservative websites.

As such, it has greatly surprised me – in a good way – that Hot Air has become even better in recent months. How? By creating its GreenRoom page, where a carefully selected group of bloggers are allowed to publish posts. One of them is a blogger who goes by the name of Doctor Zero.MORE

The elite media is euphoric, saying the Obama stimulus package worked and we had 3.5% economic growth this quarter!

Unfortunately when I explain to you how the U.S. Government comes up with that number you are going to realize why the CBO likely never has an accurate forecast and why most economists are worse than weatherman at predicting economic trends. What I am about to explain to you is a tad arcane but Poligazette and my IUSB Vision readers are some very smart people and I have confidence that you will grasp this just fine.MORE

The Jerusalem Post reports that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that Iran will not retreat “one iota on [its] nuclear rights.” He added that he was extremely happy that the West, and especially the U.S., seems to grow to agree with him. The West, Ahmadinejad said, has moved “from confrontation to interaction.”

And where has that led us? Well, exactly where we were before we started talking to Iran. In fact, you could even argue that we’re worse off now.MORE

Kim R. Holmes:

America is a great nation. It enjoys unprecedented wealth. Its people are among the freest in the world. And, with the world’s most powerful armed forces, the United States is largely the master of its own destiny.

Yet there is an insidious threat to America’s continued greatness. It gets scarce attention because its effects are not immediate, but that threat is real.MORE
