Van Jones is one of the most prominent radicals in America. When he was younger he was a black panther, later he became a radical leninist who joined organizations that wanted to cause a communist revolution in America thereby overthrowing the capitalist system.

Even though Jones is clearly a radical, he was recently appointed one of the most powerful men in America when President Barack Obama appointed Jones his ‘green jobs czar.’

Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), the revolutionary group formed by self-described “communist” and “rowdy black nationalist” Van Jones, held a vigil in Oakland, California, “mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world” on the night after Sept. 11, 2001.

The reason this is important is because Van Jones is now President Obama’s green jobs czar. He does not appear to have distanced himself from his past communist activities and is now part of the Obama administration’s push to turn Sept. 11 into a National Day of Service focused on the promotion of the radical environmentalist agenda.

Jones’ STORM group published a revolutionary manifesto after the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01. In this manifesto, the group blames the United States government, not extremist Muslims, for the attack. The US brought these attacks upon itself, STORM said, by its imperialist and bigoted policies.

And now a prominent member of this leninist group is Obama’s green jobs czar. A man you’d protect your children against has become one of the most powerful and influential men in the most powerful country on earth.

It’s possibly only in Obama’s America.

  1. Patrick Glenn Michael, I agree that it's very disconcerting that Obama would appoint this character Van Jones to any position - even if it were dog catcher - let alone a high profile "czar" position. But has anyone done a story breaking down how much power, responsibility, inlfuence these czars have? Allow me to play devil's advocate for a moment: What if these czar positions are mostly just figurehead roles, which allow Obama to give off the impression to his leftist base that he is appointing "progressive" people to important posts, when in reality many of these crazy czars have very little influence over policy? I'm trying to look on the bright side, because the alternative is frightening. Either way, the appointment speaks very poorly of the Obama administration, but after a while people get used to it. Hmm, now that's a thought. What if, every week or so, the Obama administration makes some kind of radical, but seemingly minor maneuver - like many of the czar appointments, Mary Robinson award, etc. This could serve a dual purpose: 1). Sort of anaesthetize the public's antipathy toward crazy leftist radicalism; 2). Set-up opportunities to utilize the principal of reciprocity against political opponents. On those occasions when Obama appoints non-leftists to high-profile positions (like, allegedly, Sotomayor) and/or employs "moderate" measures/policies/decisions, then opponents would be psychologically inclined to feel like Obama is doing them a favor that should be reciprocated.

Doomed when in reality many of these crazy czars have very little influence over policy? Well I have to laugh at this. Think about it. If you have to appoint crazy people to appease your base????!!!!!?????

Interested The Great OB has more Czar's than the old USSR did. 32! They often do not need confirmation hearings, no accountability other than to the Great One, etc etc So much for transparency. 32 - that's a ton of short buses.

Jay_C Hmm, that got me thinking... Isn't he the kind of guy Bill Clinton has previously said should be ashamed of himself, or rather I think he specifically said was NUTS?

Orson Buggeigh I wish we could be surprised by this appointment. By now, however, it should be obvious. The President is a man of the left, and he is playing to his leftist friends. People may have hoped that he was really tossing Reverend Wright and William Ayers under the proverbial bus during the campaign. The list of appointments should have disabused them of any notions that Mr. Obama was going to govern as a centrist. Of course, the practice of handing his plans for the economy, health care, and the auto industry over to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid simply underscores what the most vocal critics were saying before the election: That Mr. Obama is an empty suit. He's a nice, telegenic man who can read a speech well. Unfortunately, his ideas on governing are apparently an ever-lasting campaign mode, or simply handing the keys to the office to the far left folks like Pelosi, and appointees like Van Jones. OK folks, I'm ready to vote to send this whole collection into retirement. What was all that nonsense about the most ethical government ever? Yeah, right. Senator Burris, a Treasury Secretary with tax problems. Van Jones is just more of the same old hope and change. Had enough yet?
