Hillary Clinton Visits India, Apologizes for Global Warming

clinton apologizes for global warmingWhile visiting India, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – also former First Lady – apologized for global warming, I mean, climate change.

“We acknowledge now with President Obama that we have made mistakes in the United States, and we along with other developed countries have contributed most significantly to the problem that we face with climate change,” she said.

Clinton added that “we are hoping a great country like India will not make the same mistakes.”

This is perhaps the most pathetic apology from the new administration thus far. President Obama himself apologized a couple of times already – for instance when speaking to the merry dictators from South America – but he at least apologized for purely ideological and political matters. Clinton, on the other hand, apologizes for a scientific problem scientists do not even agree upon exists.

In fact, most recent researches argue that manmade global warming (climate change) does not exist or is, at the very least, extremely difficult if not impossible to measure.

Clinton out-apologizes Obama. Who would’ve thought?

“In fact, most recent researches argue that manmade global warming (climate change) does not exist or is, at the very least, extremely difficult if not impossible to measure.”

Alan Carlin has been blasted again and again for claiming martyrdom while in reality his science was plain weak and partially plagiarized.

The reason the recent report on the models is that they are inaccurate is because said models do not account for positive feedback cycles. That is, the models will be too optimistic about AGW.

Is this what the skeptics must resort too? Repeatedly claiming that Carlin was “suppressed” rather than tried and found wanting? “Most recent researchers” my backside.

“President Obama himself apologized a couple of times already – for instance when speaking to the merry dictators from South America ”

Utter exaggeration of the political realities in South America. First of all everyone who knows a little history can see that the US has a reason to apologize for its behavior – it’s not OK to remove leaders (like Chavez in 2002, or in Haiti in 2004) at a whim and fund right-wing oppression and torture. Secondly, none of them are actual dictators (a few of them try, sadly) and their *people* deserve an apology anyhow. I say thee “bah!”.

As for the historically major amount of CO2 produced by the US that is having an effect on India now, that is simply utter truth. While the US can’t make excuses for CO2 produced when no one understood the consequences, it’s behavior today is irresponsible towards people affected all over the world, including India. Clinton is doing what is common-sensical, and if this bothers some AGW skeptics (am I being generous with that description here? My patience is certainly being tried) then so be it.

India rejected her begging. Seems they have no intention of wiping out their emerging middle class to please the hair-shirt crowd.

Unbelievable, this is what they teach you in Swedish schools?

Right – apologizing for something that’s fiction.

Sure – get right on that.

oops

U.S. GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS (millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent)
PRESIDENT GEORGE H.W. BUSH
1992: 6,140
1990: 6,084
rise 56
PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON
2000: 6,975
1993: 6,275
rise 700
PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH
2007: 7,107
2001: 6,872
rise 235

* A rise of 700 million tonnes is about as much as the annual emissions of a country such as Britain, France or Canada. Under the combined Bush presidencies, emissions rose by 291 million tonnes.

So much for your common sense Garland.

Democrats – bad for the Climate.
