Stanley Fish writes of what will become of President Bush after January 20, 2009. Although the position of baseball commissioner is mentioned in the article I’m personally hoping he becomes a Major League baseball commentator. I think in time he would join the sportscasting legends of John Madden and Bill Walton.

Bal(t)imoron I'll be interested if you can maintain this irony shtick for your posting career. The notion of the "Great Stutterer" as a color commentator makes me want to immerse myself quietly into box scores and ignore the TV.

Bill Bush is not smart enough to quote statistics. Look at how stunned he was when economists predicted $4 a gallon gasoline. I could see Bush as a commentator.... Someone would quote a statistic and Bush would respond "I don't know where you got that information!"
