Cow Chases Bear Away

In what can be called the most comical story of the day, a cow was able to chase a bear away from her favorite tree.

It happened 30 miles northwest from Denver, Colorado. A cow named Apple saw a bear who had climbed into her favorite apple tree. Instead of running away, trying to hide for the bear, Apple confronted him.

She touches the bear’s nose with her own. The two stared at each other for a while until, suddenly, the bear took off. Seemingly, Apple the cow intimidated the sad little bear.

Apple weighs 1,200 pounds and is very fond of apples, hence her name. The AP is kind enough to point out that ‘neither animal was hurt’ in the incident. That is quite unexpected since we all know that cows are extremely aggressive…
