McCain was for it before he was against it. And to think John Kerry wanted this flip-flopper to be his VP. Oh. Wait. Never mind.
Pundit doesn’t know history. Hillary Clinton apparently can’t do math. And no one…no one gets philosophy. Clearly, the teacher’s unions need to be rewarded with more money.
Ron Paul doesn’t care if 100,000 brown people die. Well, I guess that’s not news. (Voldemort’s name has been said, spam to follow.)
McCain promises to end Iraq war in first term. He also promises a pony.

Although there have been no riots in Afghanistan yet over spiraling food prices, merchants and others fear that it will not be long before hunger will cause the average Afghani to, if necessary, steal food for himself and his family. (more…)

There is something of a war going on between a member of the European Parliament, Joost Lagendijk (NL, Greens – ultra progressive), and the Turkish political party the CHP. The Kemalist party has asked the Speaker of the European Parliament to remove Lagendijk from his post as co-chairman of the interparliamentary commission. (more…)

Well, well. It seems that the bloggers here use too many nasty words or write about subjects Ege University, the University of my girlfriend, does not want its students to read about. A couple of days ago I could reach PoliGazette from the university computers, now I cannot: access denied due to words or phrases used that automatically result in bans. They have also blocked the New York Times, but not the Washington Post.

Hillary Clinton has received the votes of approximately 48% of the popular vote thus far in the Democratic primary, some 1% less than Barack Obama. She has a lot support, some of it very intensely felt – to the point that some of her supporters say that they’ll vote for John McCain instead of Obama, should his nomination come to pass.
Despite the left’s fears, that’s not going to happen and Kyle Moore (no relation) knows why.

Politics is exactly what Barack Obama and others on the left are playing at when they protest, overmuch, that President Bush attacked the presumptive Democratic nominee when he delivered a much-needed slap in the face to those who would look away from terrorism rather than face the threat directly.

The California Supreme Court’s 4-3 decision in favor of allowing same-sex couples to marry is an unfortunate rejection of Christian morality. Glen Greenwald points out that it’s hardly unexpected given the state’s precedents before going on to say that the democratic process in California legitimizes the ruling, a claim of dubious accuracy, as demonstrated by his source material. All that said, I think it’s the correct ruling for the same reason as John McCain as does.

I have watched with dismay the intense, unfairly negative attention given to the State of West Virginia over the past week. The Poligazette team knows I prefer research to ranting, so I thought I would look up a few interesting facts that go against the prevailing “narrative.” (more…)

The California Supreme Court has overturn the state’s ban on same-sex marriage, opening the door to official recognition of same-sex relationships. Conservative groups are already spinning up, setting Constitutional amendments as their goal.
Its time to end this debate. (more…)
