The Boston Celtics – a legendary name – have beaten the Detroit Pistons in game six of the Eastern Conference Finals, resulting in them having a 4-2 lead in a best of 7 series. This means that Boston will, for the first time since 1987, appear in the NBA finals. (more…)

If you can’t prove yourself to be right about historical events, simply lock up those who dare disagree with your twisted version of what happened. According to the logic of the Obama campaign itself (see earlier post on the e-mail I received from them), this means that an Obama administration will be like a third term for George W. Bush. But I’m sure that they’ll interpret it in a slightly different way.

As is their good right of course; in politics, it’s all about spin.

Reuters reports that the Vatican has announced that women priests, and those who (try) to ordain them, will be automatically excommunicated. ‘The decree was written by the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and published in the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano,’ meaning that it immediately went into effect.
